Rosa Parks’ decision to challenge the segregation of busses in Alabama sparked not only the Civil Rights Movement in America but also other nonviolent protests throughout the USA and around the world. Civil rights scholar, activist and master storyteller Barry Bradford will tell the story of Rosa Parks and the year that made Martin Luther King, Jr. a household name.
